Sitebase

Sitebase for Squarespace

Add waiting lists, signups, and testimonials to your Squarespace site.

Squarespace handles the design — Sitebase handles the data. Waiting lists, newsletter signups, and testimonials with a single embed block.

Sitebase is in private beta. Once you're in: add your Squarespace site. No backend to build, nothing to host.

Step 1

Create the feature

Pick a waiting list, newsletter signup, contact form, or testimonials in the Sitebase dashboard and customize the copy.

Step 2

Copy the embed URL

Squarespace strips script tags, so Sitebase gives you a hosted embed URL instead: paste it into the Embed block and the feature renders inside it.

Step 3

Watch the data come in

Submissions, signups, and pageviews land in your dashboard. Approve testimonials, export data, get notified.

How to embed on Squarespace

  1. Copy the hosted embed URL from the feature Setup tab in Sitebase.
  2. Add an Embed block, open its code or Embed Data option, and add an iframe whose src is your hosted embed URL. Check that your Squarespace plan permits iframe code.
  3. Give the iframe enough width and height for the form, save, and test the published page.

Check the installation

  1. Open the published page while signed out. Check that the whole feature fits inside the frame on mobile.
  2. Send a test entry and check the Sitebase Data tab.

Choose a feature for your site

Forms use the feature snippet or hosted embed URL. Full-site analytics needs the tracker in your site's layout.
