Careers

Careers lets you publish open roles on your website and collect applications with CV uploads. Think of it as a small ATS built into Sitebase.

When to use it

Use Careers when your company has one careers page with several open roles. You manage the roles in Sitebase, paste one snippet on your site, and receive applications in the dashboard.

If you only need a generic application or intake form, Forms works too. Careers is better when each submission needs to be tied to a specific role.

How it works

  1. Create the Careers feature from your website's + Add more screen.
  2. Open the Openings tab.
  3. Add one or more roles and set the ones you want to publish to Open.
  4. Copy the snippet or hosted embed URL from Setup.
  5. Read applications in Applications.

Openings

The Openings tab is where you configure the roles shown publicly. Each role has a title, department, location, work mode, employment type, optional salary range, description, requirements, and status.

Only roles marked Open appear in the public embed. Draft and Closed roles stay in the dashboard. When you save a role, Sitebase republishes the same embed behind the scenes, so you do not need to copy a new snippet.

The application form

Each open role gets its own application form. The default fields are name, email, CV/resume upload, LinkedIn or portfolio URL, and a short cover note.

CV files use the same private file storage as other Sitebase forms. Only signed-in dashboard users who can access the website can download them.

Applications

The Applications tab works like a simple applicant inbox. You can filter by role or stage, open each application, download the CV, reply by email, and move the applicant through these stages:

  • New
  • Reviewing
  • Interview
  • Rejected
  • Hired

Applications can also be exported as CSV. The export includes the role title and current application stage.

Spam protection

Careers includes the same honeypot and per-visitor rate limiting as other Sitebase forms. You can also enable Cloudflare Turnstile from Config.

My advice is to turn Turnstile on before publishing a careers page, because application forms accept open text and CV uploads.
